Train Evacuation Method
Working At Height Limited have for sometime been heavily involved with the UK's train operating companies in developing a 21st century method of evacuating a disabled train. This is to prevent customers being asked to exit a train into an extremely hostile environment, in just about every case by means of a wooden ladder and unfortunately with no facility for evacuating wheel chair users, a very unsatisfactory situation in this day and age.
The photographs speak for themselves, however the train operators can also speak of the success of the 'Evac Bridge' where it has been extensively trialled and used.
So the hard work is done, now all that is left is for this innovation in train safety to have more publicity world-wide. The Evac Bridge folds very neatly and the handrails are also very neatly packed in a carry bag designed for the job, therefore shipping anywhere globally is simple and straight forward.
