Train Roof Rolling Gantry Bridge

Some platforms look quite simple but in truth can be quite complex, firstly to come up with a solution and then a concept design and then finally manufacture and make it work, as was the case recently, this platform is the duck serenely moving on top while furiously paddling below the surface, as we had to make this work with an existing gantry, which is never easy and to make it roll straight and also prevent any lateral or side to side movement, so we had be millilitre perfect not just not on top but below,  so a lot of what makes this bridge work cannot be seen.

This bridge was required for crossing over the roof and a hatch is built into the platform to gain access to the HVAC units below and we are very pleased to say that it worked wonderfully and you maybe able to detect just a little relief on the faces of the two Pauls (Wrack and Whittle) who installed it.
