Train Door Access Platforms

Not all trains are the same and certainly not all train care depots, therefore we need to design train door access platforms to suit.

On this occasion there is a gap between the depot floor and train door so a cantilever platform was required to close this, hence the counterweight that can be seen below the platform, with 8 train door platforms recently delivered. 

Manufactured in lightweight aluminium, with anti-slip platform decking and stair treads, the delivered door platforms offer a safe and efficient access solution, ensuring compliance with the Working At Height Regulations.

With the gap closed, the train depot engineers and cleaning teams can now safely enter and exit the train carriage to carry out there tasks.
