As an Authorised Genie dealer, we like to bring our customers the latest industry and product news as soon as we hear about it and often before it is released to the world, the latest being that this year Genie are launching a brand new boom access platform, infact it is the world's largest self propelled boom access platform, please read on below for more information.

Genie has officially confirmed that its new boom lift will have a180ft platform height and called the SX180.

The new model which includes a new rotating jib which offers between 160 and 170 degrees of slew, will have up to 24 metres of outreach. 


The SX180 also has an unusual telescope system with a second section that features an external telescope cylinder that is only used for platform heights over 150ft.


Platform capacity if 340kg and is unrestricted, with drive possible at full height.
