Bespoke Access Towers

Many jobs seem impossible without the right advice, in this case accessing burners on Ambi Rads the full length of an art studio in an old bath house in South London.

Back in the day the good folk of Deptford would enjoy a swim here, entering through the Ladies or Gentlemen’s entrance, or to have a bath, this in the days before we had the luxury of a bath in the home, even the toilet was at the end of Garden.

Thankfully this relic of those by gone days still stands, and is put to good use, as was the extremely ornate balustrade for a bath house  (they don’t make them like they used too), allowing us to position a tower scaffold on the balcony and secure it. Without this bespoke method of securing there was not enough available space to use a tower scaffold, and the landlord was in the throes of engaging very costly scaffold contractors.
 
The work was completed after we trained staff and installed the tower system, and the burners from floor level were/are now accessed using our AH-10 QU battery powered access platform, both purchased and now permanently on site for when required.
